The original, rustic character of the building has been preserved, for example in the high wooden ceilings and the old, restored original beams. The Hürtgenwald, as well as the municipality of the same name, are located on the northern edge of the Eifel and offer a variety of opportunities to spend the most beautiful days of the year there. Our farm is a former full-time farm. We have remodeled the stables and living area and now live here with ten horses, a dog and cats. The Raffelsbrand district is a purely agricultural settlement and has around 180 inhabitants. You can ride for hours right from the farm through varied forests and quiet valleys. The Eifel National Park and the Raffelsbrand high-altitude adventure trail (high ropes course) are on the doorstep, as are the Rursee lake, the beautiful half-timbered town of Monschau and the High Fens.

The Mestrenger Mühle is a three-cornered mill with a water wheel, some of which is over 400 years old.
