Our house is located between the Monschau districts of Mützenich and Kalterherberg on the L106 country road, on the edge of the North Eifel Nature Park and the Hohes Venn moorland. Within a radius of 2 km you will find hiking and cycling trails that will lead you to your nature experience. The old town of Monschau, restaurants and shops are just a few kilometers away and the vacation apartments on the edge of the forest invite you to relax. Both apartments are located in the same house, on the left the apartment Brettbaum and on the right apartment Kirmessief, each with its own entrance. The respective outdoor areas are located directly next to the apartments. The parking lot is directly at the house. The wallbox 11KW - 400 volt plug TYPE 2 provides charging for your electric car while you enjoy your free time. Books, indoor and outdoor games are available for you. The table tennis table, swing and slide offer fun for young and old. You are also welcome to use the lockable bicycle garage. It is equipped with bicycle repair tools and a power connection. You can obtain hiking and cycling maps and recommendations for excursions directly from us. In addition, extensive material with tour suggestions is available. The bus stop directly at the house facilitates your tour planning. The property also has a fruit tree meadow and plenty of space to play, or you can simply enjoy your time out. Guests have written poems or compiled photos of our region in photo books with travel stories. This shows that the guests have felt very much at home.

Through the rubble-stone cellar, you have direct access to the water (small terrace by the river / space for 2 tables and 6 chairs). A cozy living room invites you to linger and enjoy social gatherings. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a large dining table seats all guests. The vacation home also features 4 cozy double bedrooms, and one bedroom has a bed measuring 2.00 x 1.40 m. Permanent parking at your own risk is available in the courtyard in front of the house. The apartment is available for a minimum stay of two nights. Up to two persons 75 Euro/night, a third person 15Euro/night. From the 7th night 55 Euro/night up to max.14 nights From 01.01.2026 we have to charge an overnight flat rate of 2.50 Euro per person and per night for the city of Monschau and pass it on to them.
