The Mestrenger Mühle is a three-cornered mill with a water wheel, some of which is over 400 years old. Apart from the weekends, you rarely hear more than the splashing of the Kall and the sounds of the forest at this place and can watch a clear starry sky at night. We will be offering two vacation apartments here from 2026.

The stylish "Ferienwohnung 1" in Haus Panoramablick is located above Monschau and offers you a breathtaking view of the picturesque Laufenbach valley. The famous Eifelsteig trail and the historic old town of Monschau are just a few minutes' walk away. For cycling enthusiasts, the Vennbahnweg/Ravel can also be reached in a few minutes by bike. This charming vacation apartment is located on the upper floor of the house and is accessible via a separate entrance. An elegant spiral staircase leads you up to all the rooms, which are located on the top floor of the house. The spacious 80 m² apartment offers comfortable space for two people. A checkroom and a separate guest WC await you on the first floor. All other rooms are located on the top floor. The spacious living/dining room is equipped with a flat-screen TV and the decorative fireplace in the living room area creates a cozy atmosphere. From the dining area you can enjoy a wonderful view over the valley of Monschau. The modern kitchen leaves nothing to be desired: it is equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, an induction hob, a fridge with freezer compartment and a Senseo Twist coffee machine. The cozy bedroom under the sloping roof has a comfortable double bed (180x200cm) with high-quality mattresses. The modern bathroom has a shower, WC and washbasin. A parking space is available right outside the front door for easy access. You’ll be staying in a typical, historic half-timbered house in the heart of Monschau’s historic old town. The Rur River flows right past the house. Through the rubble-stone cellar, you have direct access to the water (small terrace by the river / space for 2 tables and 6 chairs). A cozy living room invites you to linger and enjoy social gatherings. The kitchen is fully equipped, and a large dining table seats all guests. The vacation home also features 4 cozy double bedrooms, and one bedroom has a bed measuring 2.00 x 1.40 m. Two bathrooms with showers and one separate restroom ensure ample comfort, even for larger groups.
