The traditional hotel has been under new management since October 2014. Lutz SCHELL, THE Belgian in Monschau, is in charge of the hotel, which received a "3-star superior" award from DEHOGA right from the start and joined the "Historik Hotels International". The newly designed brewery cellar serves as the hotel bar and has also mutated into a new location in Monschau. A wonderful combination of old and modern ambience makes the listed building a special attraction in the Eifel town of Monschau - an ideal setting for a meal for two, with friends or the whole family, for celebrations of all kinds, for an overnight stay or a vacation in a highly comfortable atmosphere.

Our house is located between the Monschau districts of Mützenich and Kalterherberg on the L106 country road, on the edge of the North Eifel Nature Park and the Hohes Venn moorland. Within a radius of 2 km you will find hiking and cycling trails that will lead you to your nature experience. The old town of Monschau, restaurants and shops are just a few kilometers away and the vacation apartments on the edge of the forest invite you to relax. Both apartments are located in the same house, on the left the apartment Brettbaum and on the right apartment Kirmessief, each with its own entrance. The respective outdoor areas are located directly next to the apartments. The parking lot is directly at the house. The wallbox 11KW - 400 volt plug TYPE 2 provides charging for your electric car while you enjoy your free time. Books, indoor and outdoor games are available for you. The table tennis table, swing and slide offer fun for young and old. You are also welcome to use the lockable bicycle garage. It is equipped with bicycle repair tools and a power connection. You can obtain hiking and cycling maps and recommendations for excursions directly from us. In addition, extensive material with tour suggestions is available. The bus stop directly at the house facilitates your tour planning. The property also has a fruit tree meadow and plenty of space to play, or you can simply enjoy your time out. Guests have written poems or compiled photos of our region in photo books with travel stories. This shows that the guests have felt very much at home.
