A different kind of vacation. Experience the magic of the centuries in our old half-timbered house dating back to 1716. Each room is different, furnished with great attention to detail. The guest rooms are all with shower/WC. The house is located in the middle of the old town, quietly situated at the foot of the medieval castle. Ideal starting point for hikes etc.

Our house is located between the Monschau districts of Mützenich and Kalterherberg on the L106 country road, on the edge of the North Eifel Nature Park and the Hohes Venn moorland. Within a radius of 2 km you will find hiking and cycling trails that will lead you to your nature experience. The old town of Monschau, restaurants and shops are just a few kilometers away and the vacation apartments on the edge of the forest invite you to relax. Both apartments are located in the same house, on the left the apartment Brettbaum and on the right apartment Kirmessief, each with its own entrance. The respective outdoor areas are located directly next to the apartments. The parking lot is directly at the house. The wallbox 11KW - 400 volt plug TYPE 2 provides charging for your electric car while you enjoy your free time. Books, indoor and outdoor games are available for you. The table tennis table, swing and slide offer fun for young and old. You are also welcome to use the lockable bicycle garage. It is equipped with bicycle repair tools and a power connection. You can obtain hiking and cycling maps and recommendations for excursions directly from us. In addition, extensive material with tour suggestions is available. The bus stop directly at the house facilitates your tour planning. The property also has a fruit tree meadow and plenty of space to play, or you can simply enjoy your time out. Guests have written poems or compiled photos of our region in photo books with travel stories. This shows that the guests have felt very much at home.

Located above the old town. Ideal starting point for hikes. Located directly on the Vennbahn cycle path (RAVeL) and Eifelsteig with terrace or balcony. The modern furnished apartments, the smaller apartment can be reached via an outside staircase, have balcony or terrace, bedroom, bathroom with shower/WC, eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, satellite TV, CD/MC, radio/player.

In our listed half-timbered house, you live in a rustic atmosphere without having to do without the amenities of a modern apartment. Please understand that pets and smoking are not allowed in the rooms. The use of the Finnish sauna must be charged separately. The use of the sauna is possible for a daily fee of € 10.
