Our small hotel / inn is located in the beautiful Mützenich at 610 meters altitude. The air and the view are unique and invites you to relax. The popular town of Monschau is about 4.5 km from our house. The premium hiking trail Eifelsteig, from Aachen to Trier, passes our inn in 300 m distance. The new Ravelroute (Vennbahntrasse) is about 2,5 km away from our house. Especially for cyclists we have a new garage, which can be used free of charge on request. For our guests arriving by car there is a large parking lot available free of charge. Four-legged friends are also welcome on request. We offer free WLAN in the entire house and in addition to many other, small attentions on our well-equipped rooms, we can still shine with a highly frequented and very good á la carte restaurant. A home-style/ Mediterranean cuisine, rounded off by constantly changing daily specials make many guests very happy. The Venngasthof Zur Buche is now one of the best restaurants in the northern Eifel. -2 holiday apartments in a recently renovated semi-detached house. Quiet location with manicured park-like garden, conservatory, large lawn and play area. Excellent shopping facilities: Shopping centre approx. 1,000 meters. Fishing in the Menzerather pond. Ideal starting point for walks and hikes (e.g.Eifelsteig), cycling tours (Vennbahntrasse, Ruruferradweg). There are no ascents on the way to the Vennbahnradweg and back to the holiday apartment. lt can be accessed very close by via the Ruruferradweg from Menzerath in the Monschau Grünental valley.

The apartment is located in the director's house of the former silk factory. It has a living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower/WC, a separate kitchen and a garden terrace. It is centrally and quietly located and only approx. 250 m from the bus stop Parkhaus Laufenstraße. You can reach the market square in 3-5 minutes. We are one of the few hosts in the old town who can provide you with your own parking space free of charge. Walkers are very welcome.

Many specialty weeks and special days take place throughout the year. For example, a guided hiking week takes place in September in conjunction with the Eifelverein.
