Sunny balcony, kitchen with stove and oven, one double bedroom plus a single bed, living room with a comfortable sofa and large TV, and a sleeper sofa with a spring mattress for two people, bathroom with shower/tub and bidet. The Buchenzauber vacation rental is a non-smoking apartment. Smoking is not permitted indoors, on the porch, or anywhere on the property. A maximum of two dogs are allowed. Please note that no “listed” dogs or dogs classified as dangerous are permitted. When booking, you can add a vacation for one or up to two dogs to your shopping cart.     Host of the EIFEL regional brand and host of the EIFEL National ParkOur hospitable house is situated in a scenic location in the middle of the "Monschauer Heckenland" and borders directly on the nature reserve "Hohes Venn" nature reserve (one of the most famous high moorland areas in Europe) as well as the "Eifel National Park" and thus offers those seeking relaxation a wide range of vacation options - at any time of year! The spacious, comfortably furnished vacation apartment (85 square meters) for 2 to 4 people with a view of the High Fens is located in a quiet, wooded area on the outskirts of Monschau/Kalterherberg. It has a roof terrace with a panoramic view of the High Fens, plenty of parking spaces at the house, parking facilities for bicycles inside the house are available. WLAN (WiFi) and charging facilities for electric bicycles are free of charge.

    The vacation apartment is located in a 200-year-old quarry stone building with 80 - 90 cm thick walls. The interior of the building was renovated and extended 70, 40 and just last year. There is plenty of parking space on and around our property. Bicycles can be safely stored. We have named our apartment "Biebes", which means butterfly. The Biebes is the symbol of our village and we use the name to express our connection with our home town. The house has a large garden which can be used by our guests. We take care of our property, but in some areas we also give nature its space, so that in summer we encounter a variety of real Biebessen. In the fall, a pair of squirrels collect the nuts. There are also predators at our house, as one or two pairs of magpies always nest in the large beech trees in the garden.

    The three meticulously restored, non-smoking vacation apartments are located in the “historic hydroelectric power plant” dating from 1772. The blend of history and modernity gives these apartments a special atmosphere. Each vacation apartment has a separate entrance. Outside, there are two sun terraces and a lawn for sunbathing. A grill and an open fire pit are provided. Ample, free parking is available right next to the building. Suitable for families and groups.
