The free-standing house (about 70 sqm) with a fenced garden is located on the outskirts of Einruhr and is situated directly on the edge of the forest. The modern furnishings provide comfort for two people for a relaxing vacation. All rooms are on the ground floor: bedroom (for 2 people), bathroom with shower, open-plan living area with adjoining kitchen. The unusual octagonal design gives the holiday home a very special, bright atmosphere during the day; at night, you can gaze at the stars. Enjoy the many possibilities to shape your day: on the large terrace, you can soak up the sun. A covered pavilion also offers the opportunity to spend the day/evening outdoors even in less favorable weather. The Octagon holiday home is an ideal starting point for hikes on the Eifelsteig and in the national park or around the Rursee. In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach the natural swimming pool Einruhr as well as the ship landing stage of the 'white fleet'. Many dining establishments can also be reached within a few minutes on foot. In about 30 minutes by car, you can reach the imperial city of Aachen. Our house is a non-smoking house. Bringing a small dog is possible by arrangement. A carport and several parking spaces are located directly at the house. We look forward to your visit.

The vacation apartment is located away from the main road, quietly and centrally in the center of Schmidt am Rursee. Schmidt is surrounded by forest and is located right next to the Eifel National Park. Lake Rursee is only 2 km away and is ideal for swimming, fishing, canoeing, sailing and diving. The vacation resort of Schmidt is situated on a high plateau approx. 480m above sea level, in the Rur Eifel directly on the Rursee. A good starting point for hikers and water sports enthusiasts.

Hotel Im Fachwerkhof is a small, cozy hotel, an old half-timbered house from 1850, the inside of which has been completely renovated. The old facades can still be seen. The hotel has double, triple and quadruple rooms. All rooms have their own bathroom.
