Description

This gravel bike tour combines challenging climbs, gentle flow descents and fantastic landscapes between Münsterwald and Schlangenberg.


This moderately challenging route includes three significant climbs, including the ascent from Bocksmühle to Stolberg. The route leads through meadows and heathland, including the Schlangenberg nature reserve with its very special galmei flora. Descents with forest trail flow and easy rolling along on dignified paths round off the cycling experience. Highlights include the medieval town center of Kornelimünster, the charming Krauthausen with its natural stone facades, the view of the Falkenbach viaduct and the exciting backdrop of the Brockenberg quarry. The Brander Wald forest also offers a short, speedy descent.
