The cart tracks in the rock point the way to a time long past, when most of Lammersdorf still belonged to the Venn. And so the path we take with you tells the story of growth, change and economic upturn in the village, which grew up around the Junker company. Lammersdorf was the first industrial location in the municipality of Simmerath and is still characterized today by Otto Junker GmbH with its stainless steel foundry and industrial furnace construction.
