From the old town of Nideggen to the Börde around Nideggen Berg

Out and about in Stolberg-Mausbach: a varied circular route that leads past numerous historical sites and picturesque chapels. The route offers insights into the history of the village and beautiful views of the surrounding area.

The “Wilde Weg” is a 1.5 kilometre-long nature discovery path in the Eifel National Park.

In the National Park Gate in Rurberg, you can get information about the Eifel National Park region and visit the exhibition “Nature's Lifelines”.

As soon as snow falls in the Eifel, the landscape is transformed into a winter paradise and you can go tobogganing, cross-country skiing or downhill skiing! The small ski areas in the Eifel have many advantages for winter sports fans: short journey times, a family atmosphere, cozy huts and great opportunities for tobogganing and cross-country skiing. There are numerous trails around the Monschau region where cross-country skiers can let off steam, for example in Lammersdorf, Eicherscheid, Kalterherberg, Höfen and Rohren. The "Johannisfeld" trail shown here is approx. 5 kilometers long and is located in the south-east of Monschau near Rohren and leads over almost flat meadow terrain
