Welcome to the Eifel Summer House, featuring a sauna, hot tub, e-bikes, and much more!

The house was built over 100 years ago and was completely renovated and modernized in 2020. It is located in the quiet Eifel village of Höfen, the gateway to the Eifel National Park.

The ground floor consists of an open-concept living and dining area, a large hallway, and a spacious bathroom area with a sauna. The built-in kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, oven, ceramic cooktop, microwave, toaster, milk frother, fully automatic coffee maker, Philips Gourmet coffee machine, egg cooker, waffle iron, blender with accessories, and, of course, various other cooking utensils.

The dining room features a large solid-wood table with ample seating, a high chair, and a cozy bench. The living room has a corner sofa set that can be converted into a double bed (1.40 x 2.20 m). The programmable, remote-controlled pellet stove creates a cozy atmosphere. A smart TV (Wi-Fi and CI slot) is also available. The “spa area” features a large sauna, two showers, several seating areas, two sinks, a urinal, and a toilet. A hair dryer is also provided.

The entire lower level (including the shower) is equipped with underfloor heating.

The upper floor features 4 bedrooms and a bathroom. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds (2 x 1.80 x 2.00 m / 2 x 1.60 x 2.00 m) and each has a Smart TV. One room serves as a combined bedroom and game room, featuring a pool table and a fold-down bed that can be raised and lowered as needed. With the sleeping space in the living room, up to 10 people can enjoy a pleasant vacation in the summer house. A crib can be provided upon request. The upstairs bathroom is fully equipped with a toilet, sink, shower, and, of course, a hair dryer.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the house as well as on the porch and terrace. Towels, dish towels, high-quality bed linens, wood pellets, and toilet paper are provided. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo and body wash. Dish soap and dishwasher detergent are also provided.

Outside, there is a terrace with seating and a grill, as well as a large covered porch that can be lit and heated. Ideal for smokers.

There are 4 parking spaces available in front of the house. There are various shopping options in the immediate vicinity (Lidl, Aldi, Real, Kaufland, etc., about 8 km away).

Our house is located directly on the famous Eifelsteig trail and is perfect for beautiful hikes or bike rides. The historic old town of Monschau is a 5-minute drive away, and Lake Rur is about 25 km away. In the wider area, there are numerous excursion options, such as the Three-Country Corner, Camp Vogelsang, the imperial city of Aachen, or the Nürburgring.

The house is a non-smoking property; pets are not allowed. Check-in is from 4:00 p.m. and check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
