Family-owned since 1924, it is now run by the 4th generation and the 5th generation is already waiting in the wings. The "Schenke" with its cozy atmosphere has been preserved in its original form. The warm ambience lets you linger even after your meal. Here you can chat, play a game or simply enjoy a glass of wine ... Approx. 40 seats - everyone will find their favorite corner here. The restaurant seats around 45 people. Nevertheless, you will find modern comfort in the 12 individually and lovingly furnished hotel rooms. Various garden terraces around the house invite you to dream, enjoy or simply relax ... an oasis in spring and summer. The cuisine, which is characterized by local products, has always grown with the demands of our guests, always striving to offer quality and regional dishes. There are no ascents on the way to the Vennbahnradweg and back to the holiday apartment. lt can be accessed very close by via the Ruruferradweg from Menzerath in the Monschau Grünental valley.

Our house is located between the Monschau districts of Mützenich and Kalterherberg on the L106 country road, situated on the edge of the North Eifel Nature Park and the Hohes Venn moorland. Within a radius of 2 km you can access hiking and cycling trails that lead to your nature experience. The old town of Monschau, restaurants and retail trade can be reached after a few kilometres.The holiday flats in direct forest edge location invite you to relax.Both holiday flats are in the same house, on the left the Brettbaum flat and on the right the Kirmessief flat, each with its own entrance. The respective outdoor areas are directly next to the flats. The car park is directly at the house. The wallbox 11KW - 400 Volt -plug TYPE 2 provides charging for your e-car while you enjoy your leisure time.Books, games for inside and outside are ready for you. The table tennis table, swing and slide offer fun for young and old.You are also welcome to use the lockable bicycle garage. It is equipped with bicycle repair tools and electricity.Hiking and cycling maps as well as recommendations for excursions are available directly from us. Extensive material with tour suggestions is also available.
