We rent out two vacation apartments in the middle of Schmidt. On the edge of the Eifel National Park and in the immediate vicinity of the Rursee lake, you can experience nature right from the doorstep.

Our hotel is idyllically situated at the Rursee, directly at the Eifel National Park. The guest rooms with shower/WC and TV, some with a balcony overlooking the Rursee, ensure a relaxing stay. Here you can enjoy excellent service and exquisite cuisine with Eifel specialties as well as international dishes. Panoramic elevator. The exclusive reception area invites you to linger. The hotel has approx. 100 beds and is therefore suitable for group travel. Conference rooms with modern conference technology are available. You can enjoy the sun and nature on the lakeside terrace. You can explore the surrounding area on foot on hiking trails or on board the boats of the Rursee shipping company. You can accompany the rangers of the national park in their work. The free-standing house (about 70 sqm) with a fenced garden is located on the outskirts of Einruhr and is situated directly on the edge of the forest. The modern furnishings provide comfort for two people for a relaxing vacation. All rooms are on the ground floor: bedroom (for 2 people), bathroom with shower, open-plan living area with adjoining kitchen. The unusual octagonal design gives the holiday home a very special, bright atmosphere during the day; at night, you can gaze at the stars. Enjoy the many possibilities to shape your day: on the large terrace, you can soak up the sun. A covered pavilion also offers the opportunity to spend the day/evening outdoors even in less favorable weather. The Octagon holiday home is an ideal starting point for hikes on the Eifelsteig and in the national park or around the Rursee. In just a few minutes on foot, you can reach the natural swimming pool Einruhr as well as the ship landing stage of the 'white fleet'. Many dining establishments can also be reached within a few minutes on foot. In about 30 minutes by car, you can reach the imperial city of Aachen. Our house is a non-smoking house. Bringing a small dog is possible by arrangement. A carport and several parking spaces are located directly at the house. We look forward to your visit.
