The Monschau National Park Trail leads from the idyllic old town of Monschau to the Eifel National Park and back to Monschau via the rear village of Höfen. Information points point out scenic and cultural-historical features. In addition to several refreshment stops in Perlenbachtal and Höfen, two exhibition houses invite you to linger: The Höfen National Park Gate of the Eifel National Park and Haus Seebend of the Eifel and Local History Association with the Weaving Museum.

The small ski areas in the Eifel have many advantages for winter sports fans: short journey times, a family atmosphere, cozy huts and great opportunities for tobogganing and cross-country skiing. There are numerous trails around the Monschau region where cross-country skiers can let off steam, for example in Lammersdorf, Eicherscheid, Kalterherberg, Höfen and Rohren. The "Wollbüschel" trail shown here is approx. 9 kilometers long and is located in the south-east of Monschau near Rohren.
