With a good 80 kilometers in length and over 1,500 meters in altitude, this gravel bike tour is just the thing for anyone who wants to really push themselves.

The Buntsandstein route is a partner trail of the Eifelsteig and also a feeder trail. It offers the same high quality and attractiveness, meets the criteria of the German Hiking Association and shows the scenic diversity of the Eifel over a short distance - close to nature, with great views and almost no asphalt.

From the narrow Rur valley, head east (clockwise) up to the edge of the Börde. From there, the route continues undulating to Hergarten.
