The hike is characterized by the numerous bends in the river Rur. From the church of St. Michael, the path leads down to the banks of the Rur. The path meanders along the left and right banks of the Rur. Afterwards, the trail slowly makes its way over the hill back to the village, where you can admire the famous Stations of the Cross.
