Border experiences - 8.7 km hike Starting point: Hiking parking lot Konzen church
The hike begins on ground steeped in history. There was already a settlement in the area of the Konzen cemetery in Roman times. The eastern half of the Pankratius Chapel is the remains of the mother church of the Monschau region, built around 890. The parish church dates back to a three-aisled Romanesque columned basilica built around 1160.
