Infopunkt Obermaubach

The information point/kiosk is located at the dam wall in Obermaubach and near a parking lot for hikers.
The reservoir is not only popular for hiking in Obermaubach, but is also a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, inviting you to paddle, row or use a pedal boat. Boat hire is available directly on the lake. There is also the opportunity to go fishing, as various species of fish in the reservoir attract anglers from all regions.
Since 1968, a power station at the foot of the dam has been supplying electricity to the RWE grid with an output of 600 kW.
