05.09.2026: Star march

On September 5, a large star march with the participation of many music-making associations from the surrounding villages and local clubs marches through Kesternich. The march starts at various points in the village and everyone meets at the village community center in the evening to celebrate together. The star march takes place as part of the association festival of the Vereinigte Spielmannszüge Nordeifel, which is organized by the Kesternich drum and piper corps in Kesternich on 5 and 6 September.

06.09.2026: Festival Sunday of the association festival of the Vereinigte Spielmannszüge Nordeifel

On the Sunday of the festival, a large parade will pass through Kesternich on the occasion of the festival of the Vereinigte Spielmannszüge Nordeifel. Afterwards, visitors can enjoy the clubs' stage performance in the Kesternich village community center. There will also be a cafeteria and other refreshments. At the end, the winning club of the parade evaluation will be chosen.
