The Rhingpirate are a popular Kölsch rock-pop cover band from Brühl near Cologne. They are known for their energetic performances. They play songs that work not just during carnival. The five-member band regularly entertains at city festivals, during carnival, and at charity and pub events with hits from stars like Kasalla, Cat Ballou, Brings, or the Bläck Fööss.
For the guys, fun comes first in everything they do. This is also why the pirates chose "Kölsch music." The Kölsch language brings so much feeling with it. We want to create a lively atmosphere and take the people along with us.” We promise that each performance will be a sing-along concert in its own way.
The pirates cover songs that they particularly like and give them their own twist. Thus, the song “Pirate” by Casalla must not be missing from any performance. Occasionally, “Drink doch ene met” also rings out as a lively reggae version. “Leev Marie” by the Paveier also serves as an absolute mood booster here.

You should know:
The Rusty Cutlass Tavern is probably the coziest pirate den in Germany. It accommodates 200 people. Several film and video shoots have already taken place here. The tavern is kept "original & rudimentary." The concert will take place in the courtyard of the venue. It is, in the broadest sense, an open-air event. Please dress according to the weather forecast.
