Look forward to a varied circular hike from Hausen – a real highlight for nature lovers and explorers!  A special experience is the ascent through an old hollow way that winds its way up from the idyllic Exental. This path, carved over centuries by carts and water, impressively shows how intensively this route was once used.  Today, the hollow way leads us to dreamlike views of the vast landscape of the Eifel.  We pass an old quarry and look at the distinctive Hausener terraces. The hike takes us over the heights to a geological peculiarity of the region. At a covered rest area with great views, we take a break before we embark on the descent back to Hausen.  At the end of the hike, a short trail promises a bit of adventure. From there, we have a beautiful view over the roofs of the half-timbered houses of Hausen to the local eagle owl rocks.
 
Despite a short but steep ascent at the beginning, the hike is well-suited for beginners. Along the way, we take ample time to enjoy the beauty of nature.
 
The tour is ideal for getting a taste – relaxed, informative, and close to nature. Discover the beauty of the Eifel in a very special way!
