Experience an unforgettable hike through a fascinating landscape on the edge of the Eifel National Park. Right at the beginning, a breathtaking view of the impressive Rursee opens up before us, nestled among the gentle ridges of the Eifel. Take some time to enjoy this panorama in peace – it is the perfect start to our varied tour.
 
We first follow the high paths, which offer us wide views over forests, meadows, and valleys. Soon the path narrows and leads us down into the valley along untouched trails. During this time, we let the charm of this natural paradise work on us. The idyllic Weidenbach transforms the hike into a small adventure. The brook meanders charmingly through forests and open meadows – a place that seems to have sprung from a picture book. The crossing of the Weidenbach promises excitement and a nature experience at the same time – waterproof hiking shoes are a faithful companion here.
 
Another highlight awaits us at the Heinrich-Geis-Stollen. This unremarkable structure is a testament to the engineering skill of past times and invites you to take a look into the history of the region. We finally ascend again to Steckenborn via varied forest paths. Upon reaching the top, we are rewarded with a grand finale: a picturesque view of the Dreiborner Plateau all the way to the Ordensburg Vogelsang – a view that makes the hike unforgettable.
