This challenging hike predominantly follows rooted and rocky paths, requiring surefootedness and good physical fitness. The route runs over the ridges and through the valleys between Belgenbach and Rur. Along the way, selected viewpoints offer impressive panoramic views over the Monschau region. The cultural highlights include the historic sawmill in Kluckbach Valley and the former mill at Belgenbach with its chapel. Another highlight is the view from the Alsdorf summit cross over the valley around Belgenbach. The hike combines a diverse landscape with a unique natural experience.
