"Eifel view"
The Eifel has lots of lookout points with panoramic views over the surrounding. Visitors are able to experience and comprehend the landscape as a whole. This is why the lookouts are particularly popular for rest and orientation of hikers. The German-Belgium nature park has launched the overall concept "Eifel views" in order that outstanding and spectacular panoramic views are more than just a symbol at the map of trails. Enjoy the distant view! Panoramic boards describe the mountains, lakes, castles and villages which are situated in front of you. Make yourself comfortable on the "Eifel-seat"! It has the shape of a reclined "E" and invites for a rest with its convenient picnic tray. Lots of "Eifel views" are located along the bicycle routes and the sign-posted hiking paths in the Eifel. Rhe "Eifel view" signposts show you the direction for side trips to a marvellous view. Also disabled people are invited to share the Eifel views. Many outlooks can be reached without steps and with little incline. The information boards can be underrun by wheelchairs.
